Following the success of our Open Day in late 2024, we launched Lakeland Slate Quarry Shops at Kirkby and sister site, Goldmire in Barrow. These “factory outlets” are open to both the building trade and the public, providing direct access to high-quality materials from our quarries every Monday to Friday, as well as one Saturday a month.
Our shops showcase a wide selection of aggregates, paving, walling, roofing materials, slate monoliths, and architectural offcuts—ideal for construction projects or as unique decorative features for gardens and landscapes.
