Brandy Crag

Brandy Crag slate is a metamorphic volcanic ash from the Borrowdale Volcanic Group formation and is a subtle grey stone characterised by mottled volcanic ash deposits. With an enormous flexural strength, extremely low porosity and very high abrasion resistance, Brandy Crag is ideal for use as an external cladding and paving, and internal flooring and finishes. Architects and designers around the world have long taken advantage of its natural beauty, durability, and adaptability to create classic weather resistant details and surface finishes. The richness of Brandy Crag makes it ideal for use in both traditional or modern design.
